Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum uses a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism where validators secure the network by proposing and attesting to blocks. To run a validator, exactly 32 ETH must be staked to the Ethereum Beacon Chain.

Pier Two offers multiple ways to stake ETH depending on your custody setup and operational needs. All methods are non-custodial — you retain full control of your ETH.

Whether you're deploying 32 ETH or 10,000+ ETH, Pier Two provides the flexibility, transparency, and reliability required for long-term staking success.

You do. ETH is never held by Pier Two. You retain full control via your custodian or wallet, and nominate both the Withdrawal and Fee Recipient addresses.

How much ETH is needed to stake?

Each validator must be funded with exactly 32 ETH. There is no upper limit — you can run as many validators as you like in parallel.

How long does it take to activate?

Validators typically activate within 16–48 hours depending on Ethereum’s entry queue.

When are staking rewards paid?

Rewards are accrued continuously and paid out every 7–8 days.

Can I restake with EigenLayer?

Yes. Pier Two supports ETH validators that are restaked through EigenLayer to secure additional protocols.
