How to Restake Native ETH with Pier Two
Step 1: Access EigenLayer
Visit the EigenLayer restaking interface: https://app.eigenlayer.xyz
Step 2: Create an EigenPod
- Connect your wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect)
- Click “Create EigenPod”
- A smart contract will be deployed from your wallet — this will be your restaking hub
The account that creates the EigenPod retains full control over it. Pier Two cannot move your funds.
Step 3: Restake your ETH
- Access the Pier Two control centre to restake your ETH, setting your withdrawal and fee recipient addresses to the EigenPod.
Step 4: Delegate to Pier Two
- Once your ETH has been restaked,
- Go to the Operators tab
- Search for and select Pier Two (Operator ID: View)
- Click “Delegate” to assign your EigenPod’s voting power to Pier Two
You’ll now be opted into all AVSs Pier Two supports and begin earning additional rewards.

Who controls the ETH?
You do. ETH is never held by Pier Two. You retain full control via your custodian or wallet, and nominate both the Withdrawal and Fee Recipient addresses.
How much ETH is needed to restake?
Minimum amount is 32 ETH to run a validator node.
How long does it take to activate?
Restaking is effective as soon as the validator is active on the beacon chain and opted into EigenLayer.
When are restaking rewards paid?
Rewards are accrued continuously and distributed based on each AVS’s mechanism.
Can I change AVS participation?
Yes, you can update AVS preferences via EigenLayer's UI or APIs at any time.
How do I withdraw restaked ETH?
Exit the EigenLayer restaking module (7-day delay), then initiate a standard validator exit on Ethereum (subject to the exit queue).
